 -Thunderstorm by Gen Orange (1970)-

The clouds are heavy, the sky gets darker, and pretty soon there’s going to be a storm.

You like to go out to take a walk, but you don’t want to take the train. (?)

Now the storm has come with thunder, and it seems the world is ending. People scatter here and there, but you’re safe and well protected.

If someone else is getting rain (?), then I’m concerned ‘cause it’s not you. You have so much that you don’t see you’re a slave, you think you’re free.

The stormy weather can always come back, you know that life is made of ups and downs. You want to be safe, without a worry about the others getting cold. (?)

Now the rain is really pouring, and you’re home without a worry. You don’t think you could be sharing all your comforts with the others. (?)

You watch and wait, that’s all you do, as if the world belonged to you. You just don’t move and I know why. You’re the center of your life.

Now the rain is really pouring, and you’re home without a worry. You don’t think you could be sharing all your comforts with the others. (?)

You watch and wait, that’s all you do, as if the world belonged to you. You just don’t move and I know why. You’re the center of your life.

I typed the lyrics down as I heard them- explains the question marks- if I listened wrong, feel free to correct me!

+! (On a total side note..)  I watched him watch and wait. I tried sending telepathic messages but he never confirmed delivery. Instead he ran away.

“I hear music and there’s no one there, I smell blossoms and the trees are bare.

All day long, I seem to walk on air. I wonder why, I wonder why.”
